InvoiceCloud Announces Winner of First-Ever Online Billing Sweepstakes; Town of Barnstable Customer Awarded $30,000 Grand Prize

In total 32 winners were selected from over five million InvoiceCloud users

BOSTON—January 14, 2022InvoiceCloud, an EngageSmart solution for online bill payment solutions, today announced the winners of the first-ever online billing sweepstakes, with the grand prize choice of either an electric Mini Cooper or the cash value of the car and a Rad Power eBike to the second-place winner. An additional 30 winners were awarded Visa gift cards. The InvoiceCloud online billing sweepstakes was created to encourage digital payments and enrollment in paperless billing or AutoPay.

The grand prize winner is a Town of Barnstable customer who signed up for both AutoPay and paperless billing. The customer met with EngageSmart CEO Bob Bennett on January 13 to receive a check for $30,000, the value of the electric Mini Cooper. The second-place winner was a Peninsula Light Company customer who signed up for AutoPay and paperless billing.

The sweepstakes kicked off on October 1, 2021, and ran through December 20, 2021. Over five million InvoiceCloud users participated. To enter, payers simply had to sign up for AutoPay, paperless billing, or make an online payment. As a result of the sweepstakes, InvoiceCloud customers in municipal tax collection, utility billing, and Insurance saw a significant increase in online adoption.
