Reach Un/Underbanked Customers with Online Bank Direct and CheckFreePay

With millions of unbanked or under-banked Americans who need to pay bills, CheckFreePay provides a walk-in cash payment option at more than thirty-thousand retail locations across the United States, including all Kroger and Walmart stores, as well as select pharmacies and convenience stores.

InvoiceCloud has partnered with CheckFreePay to make these walk-in payments available to our clients who use Online Bank Direct. Here’s how it works:

• Your customer takes a copy of their bill to any CheckFreePay location and presents their bill to the clerk.
• The clerk enters the account number and amount in their CheckFreePay interface and accepts the customer’s cash.
• Fiserv sends CheckFreePay payments to InvoiceCloud nightly, and payments can be located in the Online Bank Direct interface where your customer’s account number will be shown in the memo line.
• Your customer’s costs for CheckFreePay transactions vary by delivery speed and retailer discretion, but invoiceCloud does not charge any additional fees for CheckFreePay.
