Your customers and support reps rely on the payment portal every day to find accounts, payments, and customer records. Until now, the search experience had limitations that often left users frustrated. That’s why we’ve made two key enhancements—Quick Find and Fuzzy Search—that dramatically improve search accuracy and efficiency.
Quick Find: One Search, Endless Possibilities
The Quick Find update transforms the portal’s main search bar into a universal search tool. Instead of being confined to narrow functions, users can now type in a name, account number, or email and expect consistent, accurate results across the portal.
This enhancement eliminates the need to navigate between different search functions. Users can now quickly locate exactly what they’re looking for, from any page in the portal.
Fuzzy Search: Smarter Matching for Real-World Inputs
The second improvement is Fuzzy Search, which adds flexibility and intelligence to text-based invoice searches where partial match is enabled. Instead of failing when a search entry is slightly off, the system now recognizes common variations, rearrangements, and misspellings to help customers successfully find their invoice.
Users often don’t enter perfect information—street names may be misspelled, or part of an address might be missing. With Fuzzy Search, entries like “123 Man Street” or “123 Main Straat” will still bring up the correct account, reducing time wasted on trial-and-error searches.
