Previously, only the Account Owner’s payment methods were displayed in the Biller Portal, while other users’ payment methods were hidden. This created confusion and additional steps. With this update, you can:
- Identify payment method ownership for every user on a multi-user account.
- Assign and manage payment methods.
- Enable AutoPay for the users.
What’s New
- Viewing Payment Methods
- Now, both Bank Accounts and Credit/Debit Cards tabs include a new User and Access Level column that displays ownership for all users.
- Existing payment methods automatically display the owning user and their access level (e.g., Account Owner, Co-Owner, Guest).
- This visibility helps your team quickly answer customer inquiries and avoid ownership confusion.

- Adding a New Payment Method
- You can now add a payment method (card or bank account) directly from the Customer Profile in the Biller Portal.
- A new “Assign User” dropdown shows the list of emails of available users, grouped by their access levels – allowing to choose who the new payment method belongs to.
- Once saved, the ownership is fixed and cannot be changed later – to preserve audit integrity.

- Editing Payment Methods
- The owning user is displayed as read-only text when editing; ownership cannot be changed to protect historical references and audit trails.
- If a payment method needs to be reassigned, simply remove the old one and add a new one for the correct user.
