Making a video for your website no longer requires specialized skills and downloading expensive programs. You can create a custom “how-to” video for your payers using free or low-cost tools – in fact, many mobile devices come with recording software pre-loaded.
If you are capturing screens on your computer, take a look at Screencast-O-Matic. This free software allows you to record and edit both video and audio and works on every kind of computer and mobile device.
Apple mobile devices have built-in software. Go to Control Center, touch and hold the grey Record button, then tap Microphone. Tap Start Recording and wait for the three-second countdown.
Recording with an Android device can be accomplished using AZ Recorder. Download this free app to your device, and when you are finished you can upload the video to Google Drive, YouTube, Vimeo, or another storage provider.
