Be on the lookout for our enhanced Auto Conveyance process with an intelligent name-matching system that improves customer identification. The system calculates a similarity score when comparing customer names on new invoices to the existing customer names on accounts, helping prevent duplicate records (unintended account conveyances) while maintaining data accuracy.
Key updates:
- Names with high similarity scores are treated as the same customer
- Handles variations in middle names, punctuation, spelling, and more
- Automatically creates new records (conveys accounts) when names are identified as significantly different
- No action required – enhancement will be implemented into the existing Auto Conveyance process (if you are utilizing this feature)
This improvement reduces duplicate accounts and processes name variations automatically, saving time and confusion by preventing unintended account conveyances.
