Bob’s Ramble: We Appreciate YOU

Happy New Year, one and all! As 2022 begins, I can’t help but reflect on the tumultuous two years we’ve all collectively experienced, and the myriad of charitable organizations that critically require our attention.

InvoiceCloud takes giving back to our community seriously — it’s baked right into our organizational DNA. (The “S” in our “CLOUDIES” value statement stands for “Support the Community” for a reason!) Whether through our time or through monetary donations, the ways in which the InvoiceCloud team gives back varies from year to year. Our volunteer and donation efforts often arise as global situations unfold, or they might be planned contributions through “InvoiceCloud Cares,” a charitable effort that gives several times each year to help people in need.

As a special show of gratitude to you, the incredible clients and partners that embody the spirit of our organization, InvoiceCloud makes an annual charitable donation in your honor. To wrap up 2021, we chose to support Fisher House, an exemplary foundation that builds homes where military and veteran families can stay while a loved one is in the hospital. This donation helps provide comfortable, temporary housing to families of hospitalized military personnel, completely free of charge.

Over the past 30 years, Fisher House has served over 413,000 families, saving them $525 million in lodging and transportation costs. In 2020 alone, 13,000 military families across all branches were served. The Fisher House Foundation also runs other important programs to assist military families, including:

• Hero Programs: These initiatives allow donated frequent flyer miles and hotel points to be used to bring family members to the bedside of injured or ill service members.

• Newman’s Own Award: A grant program that supports other military charities.

• Scholarships: A grant program that provides scholarships to children and spouses of military families.
