Spring Clean your Marketing Routine

Published 4/4/24

Spring is finally here, and with the weather getting warmer, there’s no better time to do a little spring cleaning. This year, make sure to include your marketing and customer communications in your spring cleaning plan. Changing up your communications can catch customers’ attention and remind them of the many self-service features that can help simplify their payment routines. Here are a few ways to “spring clean” your marketing this year:

  • Invoice Messaging: If you often use the same online payment message on your invoice, now is a great time to switch it up! Try promoting some lesser-used features (like pay-by-text or digital wallet payments) to raise awareness for more available payment options. For ideas on new invoice messages you can use, check out the Sample Bill Messages document available in the Marketing Resource Center.
  • In-Office Signage: If the customers who come into your office to make payments are used to seeing the same posters, switching up your signage can be an easy way to catch their attention. Check out Browse>Posters and Browse>Counter Signs & Takeaway Cards in the Marketing Resource Center for dozens of templates for new in-office signage.
  • Website Graphics: The new season is a great time to swap out any online payment-related web graphics that have been displayed on your website for more than six months. For new promotional graphics for your website header, sidebar, or image carousel, check out the Browse>Social & Web Graphics folder of the Marketing Resource Center.
  • Invoice Reminder Notifications: Ensuring you have 2nd and 3rd invoice reminder emails enabled in your biller portal is an easy way to increase your customer communications and boost your adoption rate. If you’d like to add 2nd or 3rd invoice reminders for your customers, create a support case through Support Central or email us at helpdesk@invoicecloud.com.

InvoiceCloud has been doing some spring cleaning, too! We’ve recently reorganized the content available in the Marketing Resource Center to make things easier to find. For a tour of our new folders, we encourage you to join our April 10th Marketing Resource Center training. Register here.
